The Green Nut Story

The Green Nut story begins three years ago, when we planted our first herbs in our little Auckland garden. We didn't know at the time, but that was the start of some BIG amazing changes for our family.

Soon, our edible garden was expanding to include a rainbow of easy-to-grow veggies. Perpetual spinach, kale, cavelo nero, chilies, spring onion, celery, Italian parsley, garlic chives, mint, and coriander... to name just a few!

By the end of that year, our health & vitality had skyrocketed, we were saving a TONNE of money at the supermarket, and having a lot of fun looking after our veggie patch as a family. The kids, who once pushed veggies around their plates, were suddenly excited to eat goodies they had grown themselves. Needless to say, it has brought us so much joy to see them devouring the likes of kale and silver-beet!

 Before long, our project grew into a vision MUCH bigger than our own garden. The Green Nut mission has been clear from the start: make edible gardens easy, affordable and accessible to the entire community. A big part of this is being on-hand to answer all your questions, and standing by our products with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

So far, the feedback has been unanimous. Customers can’t believe it took such a tiny amount of effort before they were enjoying their own home-grown goodies... super nutritious, free of chemicals, and much (much!) tastier than shop bought produce. In our opinion, empowering people to eat healthy and reduce their environmental footprint has been the best “pay cheque” we could ever get!
